Invoice App Concept

Project Details

As part of transitioning to digital business processes, Olympic Software's clients found that some of their smaller customers were not yet ready to be sending digital invoices. Rather than onboarding them into a full EDI solution we thought a simple solution would be an app with the sole purpose of creating and sending invoices. This way these businesses would be able to easily invoice customers while out and about in their work day.

Design Process

I created wireframes for each screen I felt was required. I then transferred these into a prototype in Adobe XD so that the team could try out the interactive prototype.

The UI Design is based on the Material Design framework so that the app fits in with the look and feel of Olympic Software's other products.

The solution starts with a feed of previous invoices with statuses, so the user can instantly know which ones need to be followed up and which ones have been paid. From here, the user can click into invoices, create new ones, navigate to the Trading Partners area where they can manage contacts, control settings, or open a reporting screen.
