We have now been together for four years! Crazy right. As they say, “time flies when you are having fun!” In this time, we have grown together, travelled the world and loved each other through life’s ups and downs. Take a look at some of our highlights in the video here!

After a characteristic uber-epic-mountaintop-surprise-proposal by Josh, (even though he protested all along the perfect woman would propose to him) we are now tying the knot! And we couldn’t be happier.

For the next step in the story, we invite you to come and celebrate our wedding at our Wilderness Wedding Festival this coming Summer. We are creating something unique and special to enjoy and be remembered for years to come by all! See you there.

As we are slightly hippy and enjoy nature, we have chosen to have our wedding in an amazing natural New Zealand bush setting at Dickey Flat Campsite. There will be a picnic, BBQ dinner and drinks, followed by live music, dancing and a few surprises! All guests have the option to stay on site to enjoy the night through with camping or glamping options.

People staying on site are requested to vacate tents by 10am on the Sunday. The final celebrations will be at the Waihi Beach Hotel for a late brunch 12pm Sunday.

BYO Camping

If you have your own camping equipment, there is plenty of space for you to assemble your own tent. On the day, you can arrive from 12pm onwards to set up your site. There will be an allocated space for camping.

Glamping

Recently, we have started an on-the-side business providing rentals and retailing of luxury camping tents at www.nomadic.co.nz. We will be providing these at the wedding for a cost of $200 per tent. We will have 5m bell tents, which can sleep 2-5 people. These will come complete with everything you need to be comfortable. Tent numbers are limited - first in first served!

If you are keen to Glamp with us, please email us at joshmpurcell@gmail.com with your configuration requirements, and we will provide payment and extra details. On the day, you may find your designated tent to drop your belongings from 12pm onwards.
